The incidence of cancer in developing countries is increasing day by day. At this rate, cancer will soon replace cardiovascular disease as the leading cause of death. It is also alarming that we see cancer in younger patients and more and more aggressive forms.
Unfortunately, conventional medicine has largely failed to deal with this epidemic.
Despite claims of progress, lifetime mortality from all significant forms of cancer has hardly changed in decades. Many patients succumb to the toxic effects of treatment, especially chemotherapy and radiation. The entire approach is reactive, ignoring the underlying causes of the disease and the patient’s regulatory mechanisms, chiefly the immune system.
The notable advantage of alternative medicine is that it considers what gave rise to cancer in the first place. By reversing those factors, progress can be made in making cancer indolent, slowing or changing its course, preventing metastasis and recurrence, and maintaining overall health and quality of life for the patient during and after treatment. Gentle and slow-acting. It can be unwise when cancer is increasing.
For these reasons, our Integrative Medicine takes a different, and very different But alternative medicine has its limitations too. As generally practised, its methods are approaching. Our diagnosis is holistic and thorough, giving us a complete understanding of the patient’s health and how it deteriorated. We then utilize many proven methods to kill cancer cells with little if any adverse effect on the patient. At the same time, we improve all the physiological and psychological processes and other negative factors, rejuvenating the body’s regulatory systems.
Of course, our integrative methods can be combined with those of orthodox medicine, and we are happy to work collaboratively with the patient’s oncology team
Breast cancer is one of the most tragic diagnoses in conventional medicine. Not only is the absolute incidence rising, but it is also estimated that a girl today has a 1 to 6 chance of developing breast cancer in her lifetime. During the last few years, this plague also appears in younger and younger women. It is important, the knowledge about the increasing of hormone-negative breast cancers, which are the more dangerous forms.
They are more aggressive, and conventional medicine has fewer therapies. Recurrences are more common in part since chemotherapy produces chemo-resistant cancer cells. Finally, despite billions of dollars spent researching radiation, chemotherapy, and immunotherapy over the last several decades, the lifetime mortality from breast cancer has not fundamentally improved.
With this Background: our approach and experience in our Centre is quite hopeful! By working on the underlying causes of the disease, we improve the prognosis for women whose conventional treatment resulted in a recurrence. We help to arrest or to slow the progress in those with more advanced cases, and we offer an alternative approach to those who are wary of conventional methods, especially chemotherapy and radiation. Besides many hundreds of cases we have treated with localized breast cancer: we just know of only one under our treatment, who suffered from metastasis.
How can we have such an apparent success, if conventional medicine does not?
The difference is in the origins of conventional versus integrative medicine. In orthodox thinking: the causes of cancer are irrelevant. Instead, the emphasis is put on genetics, as though a woman was doomed to develop cancer. In this mindset, the doctor’s role is just to kill cancer cells. Since they don’t consider why cancer occurred in the first place, they don’t give much thought to what would make cancer come back.
We don’t see it in this way at all. In our model of disease, the causal factors can and must be known. Genetics may determine when and where the breakdown of the body appears, but the causal factors are rarely in the patient’s DNA. On the other hand, disease follows a weakening of the body over time, under the stress of poor diet and digestion, toxins, xenoestrogens, and other endocrine disruptors, chronic viral infection, and myriad related problems.
These can be and are addressed in our treatment, starting with extensive testing of all the body’s systems. Our approach recognizes: that the factors which created cancer also create recurrence.
Let us emphasize that it is not our position that breast cancer patients should always forego conventional medical treatment. Very often, traditional therapy, especially lumpectomy, is essential in gaining the upper hand of the disease. But without addressing the root causes of the disease, the likelihood of recurrence and metastasis are simply too high.
Patients need to reverse the weakness in the body, and the factors that caused their weakness, to restore their health. And everyone knows that specific conventional treatments, notably radiation and chemotherapy, represent their health risks, and weaken the body’s immune system just when it is needed the most! In Dr Saxena’s approach, we work not only against the cancer cells but for the immune system, balancing the internal metabolic milieu and the many co-factors whose dysfunction allowed cancer to develop in the first place.
We take a highly individualized approach to each of our patients, but never more than in treating cancer. We are happy to work with your existing medical team. The result is a healing regimen that offers hope of a long and healthy life.
Integrative medicine and conventional medicine do agree on the starting point for all cancer – cell mutation is normal. But at any given moment, each one of us has cancerous cells in our bodies. The question, which Integrative medicine asks is: why do those few cancer cells take root and flourish? It is because of the internal milieu of the patient, which favours illness rather than health. In orthodox medicine, the milieu is absolutely ignored, and the patient is asked to trust the surgeon’s knife, the radiologist’s ionic rays, the endocrinologist’s hormones. In Integrative medicine: we are convinced: fixing the milieu is more powerful!
The good news is: that for the vast majority of cancer patients, the disease is relatively slow-moving, and we have time for our methods to arrest its progress. The treatment may be individual, but the goal is always the same – turn the acute state into a lazy one. Cancer becomes indolent or goes into remission, so the patient has a chronic but not a life-threatening problem.
Why is Dr Saxena Centre so incredibly successful in the treatment of these diseases?
Because we recognize the whole organism and understand the interplay of many factors, and we always focus on the intestine as the main regulator of the immune system and as the primary “catering service” to sustain body cells.
Our treatments are very individual. By eliminating all contributing factors (e.g., dental foci: food allergies, minerals, vitamins and trace element deficiencies; electromagnetic stress, disorders of the autonomic nervous system, etc.) The patients we treat: who often have already been treated with chemotherapy). They show no further worsening of the disease.
In most cases, their situation remains stable, and practically all of them have an improved quality of life, without they have to continue taking the usual medication, which is often very detrimental to their well-being. We regularly see: They live far longer than the original prognosis, they were given by conventional medicine.
